WATER
Every 20 seconds a child dies due to unsafe drinking water. 1040i has made it one its main goals to end this. In areas where wells are impossible due to elevation, 1040i installing water reservoirs to catch rain water and giving family filtration systems.
HEALTH
In north and west Africa, very few medical specialties are in place. There is estimated to be 1 doctor for every 10,000 people. 1040i is partering with American volunteer Doctors and Surgeons to provide medical care to those who desperately need it.
EDU
The best way to change the future of a hurting country is through education. 1040i is renovating elementary schools in Côte d'Ivoire that have been destroyed by years of civil war. In 2013 we will open a Elite bilingual academy in Côte d'Ivoire, allowing the students the chance at a better future. We are building relationships in Morocco by renovating schools.

College Students Impact Morocco
Spring break of 2013, a team on college age students traveled to Morocco to impact the people through education. The team was able to paint 3 different elementary schools, provide clean safe drinking water, and build relationships that will last forever. This is their story. #impact1040i
Education is Life
In February 2013, a team of Volunteers traveled to Côte d’Ivoire to give 300 children a chance at a future. In two weeks the team renovated an elementary school,provided 300 backpacks, school supplies, and most of all hope. Click here to provide education for 1 child and give him a chance at a future.
